Our airport terminal has three ATMs (Newcastle Permanent Building Society). Two are located in Departures, adjacent to the security screening area and the third ATM is located in Arrivals.

Luggage trolleys are available outside both the Departures and Arrivals ends of the terminal. They are also available in most of our car parks. 

The cost to hire a trolley is $5, with $1 being reimbursed when you return it to a trolley bay. Payment can be make using a credit card. Cash payments are not currently available due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Our parents' room is located in Departures, directly opposite Gate 2. This private room is equipped with baby change facilities and a baby nursing chair. Baby change facilities and nappy bins are also located in all disabled toilets throughout the terminal. They can be found in Check-in, Departures, international Departures and near Gate 7 (Arrivals).

 

All our car parks have dedicated parking spaces for passengers and visitors with a disability. The parking spaces are clearly marked and can only be used by persons with a vehicle displaying a valid ‘disability’ card.

We have a dedicated pick-up area for passengers and visitors with a disability, located at the arrivals end of the terminal, where we have a wheelchair ramp.

All cars using these parking or pick-up areas must display a valid ‘disability’ card and the driver must stay with the vehicle at all times.

Smoking is not permitted inside our terminal, near any doorways, or along any part of the covered walkway. We have provided a designated outside smoking area, which is located in the Short Stay 1 car park, adjacent to the departures end of the terminal.

Toilets are located throughout the terminal, in Check-in, Departures and Arrivals.

A range of transport options are available to travel to and from Newcastle Airport.

Located just outside the Departures end of the terminal is a taxi rank and bus stop. At the other end of the terminal outside Arrivals, you will find the rideshare pick up point.

Rental cars are located just along from the Arrivals entrance.
