Our Newcastle Airport Ambassador Program commenced on 16 May 2008.
Recognised by their distinctive teal blazers, for the past 12 years our friendly team of volunteer Ambassadors have been providing support and a helping hand to our passengers.
Designed to enhance the customer service experience at our airport, the award-winning program today has 14 Ambassadors who share two volunteer shifts each day.
The Newcastle Airport Ambassador program started with three enthusiastic volunteers welcoming passengers and championing local tourism. Since then, the Ambassadors have collectively donated more than 50,000 hours to meet-and-greet and give advice to millions of visitors at Newcastle Airport.
